Rob Huff, DO CAQSM

Dr. Robert Huff is a fellowship trained, board-certified, Family Medicine physician who specializes in Sports Medicine. He attended medical school at Ohio University, and completed residency and fellowship training in Cleveland, Ohio at University Hospitals and the Cleveland Clinic Health systems. Dr. Huff joined PrimeCare of Southeastern Ohio in October of 2025.

''I am extremely excited to be a part of PrimeCare of Southeastern Ohio! As many may know, I have practiced in the region for well over a decade primarily dedicated to sports medicine and orthopedics. This has included treating athletes with sports injuries, fractures, acute and chronic conditions, and providing a large spectrum of treatment for orthopedic problems with non-operative and minimally invasive surgical techniques for patients of all ages. A few patients, however, knew me as their ''family Doc.'' Joining PrimeCare has allowed me the freedom to expand the primary care portion of my practice. I am proud to now be able to offer the ability to serve as the ''family Doc'' for a much larger number of patients and families. For those who are already blessed to be under the care of one of the many great primary care physicians in our area, I am pleased to continue to offer specialty services in sports medicine. This means treating medical and orthopedic concerns in all athletes, from highly competitive to the recreational weekend warriors, as well as acute and chronic orthopedic conditions for patients of all ages.''

Dr. Huff has a special interest in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, ultrasound guided injection treatments, and ultrasound guided minimally invasive surgery for a variety of conditions.

Dr. Huff features a Walk-In Injury Clinic. If you have suffered an injury and need urgent medical attention, but would like to avoid the hassle of a busy emergency room and/or urgent care center, we are happy to schedule you for a same day appointment. We offer same day evaluation, diagnostic x-ray and/or ultrasound, splinting, casting, laceration repair, wound management, and much more.

Dr. Huff is also a certified FAA Senior Aviation Medical Examiner offering Class 1, 2, and 3 FAA medical exams.

Dr. Huff is a member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Sport Medicine, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the American Osteopathic Association.
